Calgary's Ryan Engman raises money for the Canadian Cancer Society(R)
with a hand from Sunkist's "Take a Stand(R)" program
CALGARY, July 22 /CNW/ -
<<
WHAT: Ryan Engman (7) joins hundreds of kids from across the country
this summer by "taking a stand" for a cause he cares about
thanks to support from Sunkist Growers.
Encouraging future philanthropists and entrepreneurs, Sunkist's
"Take a Stand" program squeezes some fun into summer by giving
kids the tools to support a charity of their choice by selling
freshly-squeezed Sunkist lemonade.
Ryan pledged online at www.sunkist.com/takeastand to sell
freshly-squeezed lemonade to benefit the Canadian Cancer
Society as a way to honour his grandparents who passed away
from cancer. Ryan's family and friends have offered to help him
as he raises funds for this cause throughout the summer. With
his lemonade stand, Ryan will be able to make a difference one
glass at a time.
