Fidus achieves record contract bookings; launches 500th project
OTTAWA, June 4 /CNW Telbec/ - Fidus Systems signed a record $1.8 million
in new contracts during its first quarter this year. This includes four,
six-month design projects for a major telecom vendor.
"Nearly $600,000 in contracts were booked at our Toronto Design Centre.
Meanwhile, our business is growing in several U.S regions," says Fidus
President, Michael Wakim. "In March, we also launched our 500th project. It's
a particularly challenging series of designs, involving FPGA, PCB Layout and
Hardware design for a multinational company in the video industry."
Fidus also booked and completed the latest in its series of complex
designs for DDR2 technology - a four-layer layout design for memory devices.
The electronics design firm also began work on a next-generation DDR3 memory
evaluation system.
